Medical Requirements

The medical exam is conducted by a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) doctor. We can walk you through the process of setting up your appointment with a doctor that we have used personally. The requirement is a 3rd class medical for a private pilot license. Think of this like a basic physical.  While a 3rd class medical is all that is required for a private license, for those that aspire to go to the airlines or commercial flying, we do recommend getting a 1st class medical. This assures that medically you will be able to achieve your dream as a commercial pilot.
